INTRODUCTION

INTRODUCTION:

I have not done many creative pieces of art work or design. But last summer holidays I learnt how to use adobe illustrator and traced a random face with digital tools. I learnt how to create different brush strokes and keys to make different parts of the face.

The Nasir al-Mulk Mosque ('the Pink mosque') utilises the concept of stained glass windows almost to the extreme. The inside of the mosque is like a rainbow with colours dancing on the floor from the stained glass windows to the very top of the ceilings which are tiny tiles in a multitude of blues. However, the stain glass windows change the colours of tiles in the building, so depending on what time you go the inside can look different.
